THA/TKA PRO-PM · BUILT FOR ORTHOPEDIC ASCs

CMS PRO-PM compliance, without the managed-service price tag.

Mandatory reporting begins for outpatient and ASC THA/TKA procedures in CY 2027. Outcomely is the focused tool that gets your practice past the 50% matched-completion threshold — SMS-first patient outreach, CMS-spec collection windows, HQR-ready submission files. Priced for surgical practices, not hospital systems.

THE GAP IN THE MARKET

The tools you've been offered weren't built for ASCs.

Hospitals have CODE Technology and a half-dozen managed-service vendors charging six figures a year. Academic medical centers have REDCap and a research team to babysit it. Mid-size orthopedic ASCs and surgical practices fall in the middle: too small for managed services, too busy to build their own program. Most are still relying on email-based survey delivery, which routinely lands below 30% response rates — well under the 50% CMS threshold.

Email-only outreach is broken.
Older Medicare patients don't check email reliably. Email-only programs typically see 25–35% response rates. CMS requires 50% matched pre/post.
Managed services price out the ASC.
$50K–$150K/year is fine for a 400-bed hospital. It's not fine for a four-surgeon ASC doing 400 joint replacements a year.
The 2027 mandate is closer than it looks.
Procedures performed in CY 2027 need 2026 pre-op data and 2028 post-op data. The infrastructure to collect that has to be live now.

RESPONSE RATES

SMS gets answered. Email doesn't.

Older patients respond to text messages from their care team. They don't respond to "do not reply" emails from "noreply@vendor.com." Outcomely is SMS-first by default, with email as a backup channel — the inverse of how most PRO programs are built.

  • Twilio-powered SMS delivery from your practice's phone number
  • Reminder cadence tuned to maximize response without crossing into spam (clinical-advisor reviewed)
  • TCPA-compliant opt-out handling baked in
  • Email as a secondary channel, not the only channel
BUILT TO THE SPEC

The right survey, in the right window, automatically.

CMS specifies a 90-day pre-op window and a 300-to-425-day post-op window for matched completion. Get either wrong and the data doesn't count. Outcomely schedules every survey to those exact windows, with reminder cadences that maximize the chance of completion before the window closes.

  • Pre-op window: 0–90 days before surgery, with two reminders
  • Post-op window: 300–425 days after surgery, with three reminders
  • Configurable per-organization, but defaults match CMS specification exactly
  • Surgeon-, procedure-, and date-range-filterable views for quality reporting

DAILY-USE SURFACE

Your matched completion rate, live.

The number that matters for CMS is matched pre-and-post completion. Outcomely puts that one number front and center, every day, with the at-risk-of-falling-out patients one tap away. No exports. No SPSS. No quarter-end scrambles.

  • Matched completion rate against the 50% threshold, in real time
  • "At risk" list of patients approaching window-close without completion
  • Surgeon-level breakdown for internal quality review
  • HQR-portal-compatible export when you need it
WHAT'S INCLUDED

Every instrument the THA/TKA PRO-PM requires.
Nothing extra to confuse your team.

The CMS THA/TKA PRO-PM specification names a specific set of instruments and risk variables. Outcomely ships exactly those — properly licensed, correctly scored, and validated against CMS reference calculations.

Managed-service vendors are excellent if you want to outsource the entire program for a six-figure annual contract. Outcomely is built for practices that want compliance at a fraction of that cost, with their team in the driver's seat.

EARLY ACCESS

We're working with three orthopedic practices in Q3.

Outcomely is in the design partner phase. We're looking for two more orthopedic ASCs or surgical practices doing meaningful Medicare-eligible THA/TKA volume to run six-month pilots starting Q3. No pilot fees. Direct line to the founding team. Named case-study rights at the end. We'd like to talk.

QUESTIONS

The questions practice administrators ask first.

Two design partner spots remaining for Q3.

If your practice is doing 50+ Medicare-eligible THA/TKA procedures a year and you'd rather solve the 2027 mandate now than in 2027, we'd like to talk.
